Engineered and deployed a high-performance regional media and political analytics ecosystem, intentionally launched at the onset of 2026. The platform was architected specifically to capture and scale through the massive traffic surges and public anticipation surrounding the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.

Growth Engine: First-to-Market 234 Constituency Explorer

Feature: "Ungal thoguthiyil yaar vetri vaetpalar" (Who is the Candidate in Your Constituency?).

Engineering: Developed an optimized, zero-friction cascading conditional dropdown system (Select District → Dynamically Filter 234 Constituencies). Upon submission, it instantly resolves data to reveal the candidate's name, intra-party hierarchy position, target assembly seat, and electoral symbol.

Impact: Recognized as the first interactive tool on the internet to compile and index candidate allocations for the historic newly launched political party. This unmatched product timing triggered a viral organic growth loop, securing 1.7k+ active users with zero marketing spend.

Growth Engine 2: Interactive EVM Ballot Simulator & Viral Exit Polls

Feature: Implemented an authentic, interactive digital ballot voting page strictly engineered within the structural boundaries of the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines, executing all polls safely prior to the official campaign silence period.

UX Simulation: Each ballot card featured a high-resolution candidate image, name, and a voting trigger. Upon submission, the UI perfectly simulated a physical Electronic Voting Machine (EVM)—triggering the iconic system audio beep and locking the display with the targeted party logo for exactly 5 seconds to provide absolute visual feedback.

Security & Data Integrity: To protect poll validity on a public open-access framework, a self-hosted PHP & MySQL verification engine was designed to throttle and block duplicate submissions through concurrent Client IP tracking and Browser Cookie fingerprint hashes.

Viral Impact: Aggregated 167 fully unique, validated votes. To maintain community trust, the raw anonymized ballot database was published completely transparently on the X platform (formerly Twitter) during peak exit-poll speculation hours, generating a massive 24.5K organic impressions.

Integrated a live IPL Scorecard module operating under a strict Free Tier Cap of 100 requests/day via the cricketdata.org API.

The Win: Engineered an automated, state-aware polling throttle. The engine computes live schedules to adaptively scale intervals (2-minute delays on single-game days vs. 4-minute delays on double-header days) and fully suspends active network requests during Strategic Timeouts and Innings Breaks to achieve zero-budget continuity.

C. Cost-Free Engagement Layer: Self-Hosted Push Notifications

Developed a native browser-level "Subscribe" button utility powered by a self-hosted PHP & MySQL microservice.

The Win: Bypassed expensive, recurring third-party SaaS messaging systems (e.g., OneSignal/Firebase). The system securely aggregates browser endpoint cryptographic validation keys (p256dh and auth tokens) into relational tables, provisioning a private administrative console to manually broadcast instant breaking news alerts straight to user viewports at zero ongoing operating cost.

Flagship Innovation: Broadcast-Grade 3D Election Results Dashboard

Feature: Built an interactive, real-world 3D election results portal that delivers media-grade interactive graphics directly to browser viewports—a feat typically restricted to high-budget satellite television networks.

3D Engineering: Modeled, textured, and rigged custom 3D political figures inside Blender, rendering them smoothly on the frontend via a responsive Three.js canvas wrapper.

Administrative Control Loop: Designed a secure, private PHP control dashboard that grants the admin real-time authority over the live client experience. From this panel, the administrator can dynamically push state mutations to update real-time seat counts and instantly trigger 5 distinct skeletal animation matrices (Idle, Dance, Sad, Cry, Win) depending on live election results.

Automated Multi-State Election Data Pipeline

Data Acquisition: Developed a Python-based automation pipeline to collect official constituency-level election results from the Election Commission of India's public results portal for Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and West Bengal. The pipeline generated structured Excel workbooks for each state, eliminating manual data compilation and accelerating data publication.

Data Engineering: Built an Excel + VBA transformation workflow to restructure raw election data into a hierarchical District → Constituency format. Automated calculations generated party-wise vote counts, vote-share percentages, and other analytical metrics, producing standardized, publication-ready datasets for all three states.

Public Distribution & Usage Tracking: Published the processed Excel workbooks on the website as downloadable resources for each state. Engineered a server-side download counter that records every successful Excel workbook download, providing real-time download analytics for all published datasets.
